Kristi Luna originates from Winnebago, Illinois. She was put into dance at the age of 3 at a studio in a neighboring town. She would later join their competition team at the age of 11. Through this experience, she found a passion for teaching and choreographing and began to do so at the recreational and competitive level at age 13. Kristi earned regional and national titles and recognition for her dancing, as well as her choreography. She specializes in the contemporary, open, and hip hop styles, but is also trained in jazz, tap, and lyrical. Recently, Kristi has enjoyed being invited to choreograph for a local high school’s dance team, where their varsity competition routines have qualified for State each year she has worked with them. One of her greatest passions and accomplishments is working with dancers with special needs. Kristi is currently working as a teacher and choreographer at Miss Andrea’s Dance Factory in Rockton, Illinois.
